Synoposis
The film tells a story about a chase, one man after his money and his revenge for his fathers death. Cesare Delino is in a vast amount of debt due to his father dying and being a mob boss, he had a lot of fingers in all areas of business so Cesare had to pay for his disapearance. Pierre Delino (father) had been killed by three of the most prestige hustlers and they are the one who also stole Pierre's wealth and riches. In a vendetta Cesare goes to all lengths to avenge his fathers death and after killing the first two in the opening scene he is after the third and final hustler.

Script

Laughter is heard from the interviewer and the man (hustler no 2) on black screen into first shot.

Interviewer - So how many books have you sold worldwide?

Man - Hmm... I think about a million in 2 months, which is more than i've made from robbing.

Interviewer - That's quite an (pause) achievement, isn't it? Are you proud of what you have produced?

Man - Yeah, well it weren't just me, so I can't take all the credit. Without my colleagues, i don't think i would've put it off.  

Interviewer - Tell me about the events in your book.

Man - It starts with me and the guys planning the crime; what entrances and exits to use to get a fast getaway ya know? Do you have a favourite part?

Interviewer - I would have to say, the questioning scene. The tension created through your lexical choices and description sounded so (pause) life-like. What would you say was successful?

Man - Successful? I suppose when we beat the old man, and tied him up. He had no idea what was coming. (laughs)

Interviewer - That sounds rather brutal doesn't it? (Flash back)

Man - Well, yeah but that's not the worst part.

Interviwer - Yes it says here, 'we circled the beaten man, crumpled in the chair like hungry vultures.' (the man laughs again)

Man - We left some things out. (End flashback)

Interviwer -  Oh? What else did you do to Cesare Delino?

Man  - Cesare Delino? I don't remember mentioning his name in the book.

Interviewer  - Oh no, I done some extra research. You see, i like to come prepared.

Man - Oh ok, so you'll know my colleague. Did you get a chance to talk to him?

Interviewer - Yes, we had a good chat, nice guy isn't he? (Flashback)

Man - Yes...

Other man (in the flash back) - Who's there?

Interviewer - He was hard to get a hold of at fisrt, he's a bit stubborn. But then we had a nice long chat. (smile)

Man - Yeah he's like that. (End flashback)

(Phone goes off, the guy looks at phone it says ' get out now!' he looks back up worried at a gun pointed at his face.)

Man - What are you... (interupted)

Interviewer - You took everything! (BANG)


Imagery of locations and decisions about locations

• Front room - where the interview will happen
• Garage - where 1st flashback will occur of the death of the father
• Flat -2nd flashback of the 1st robber being killed by Cesare. It is spooky, dark and dingy flat in burgess hill, has a good affect with the lighting in the flat (flashing on and off).
• Field - a establishing shot of birds reacting to the shot being fired

• tea cup - graphic matchin with slamming on to the table with the falling off the chair.
• interview team - boom mic, camera, stands etc,
• gold or silver (expensive looking) watch as a hint to the audience to tell them who the interviewer really is.
• chair that the father gets tied to.
• rope to tie over
• a sack or bag to use to cover faces.
• paper, pen - to make interviewer look proffesional
• BB gun - last shot of Cesare shooting hustler
• Mobile phone - when he gets unknown tip off
• mask - patetant mask for Cesare for when he kills.

Health and safety including risk assessment for filming and use of equipment

• Shin pads - for the kick into shins.
• No pellets in the gun
• Crash mat or matress for the falling off the chair onto the floor.
• permission from house holders and flat owner

lighting decisions

• Interview - 3 point lighting, affect of nice sunny day.
• flashback 1 - spot light, portable beam light.
• flashback 2 - flat lights have special flash on flash off lighting. Possibly take singly portable light also for secruity purposes just in case it is too dark.
